WHY THE ROTOVAC? | BAIT N' SWITCH | WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT | OUR PRICING | FAQ's

Featuring the Patented Rotovac Carpet Restoration System

Although regular vacuuming can remove dry soil and debris from your carpeting, it leaves behind oily soils and particles that are produced from cooking vapors, pets, and dirt tracked in from outside the home. These oily contaminants that are left behind can cause your carpet to dull and fade. As the contaminants build up they become more difficult to remove. Regular deep cleaning of the carpet can prevent the excessive build up of contaminants and keep your carpets looking fresh and clean.

Regular cleaning of your carpets also helps improve the air quality in your home by removing pet hair, dust mites, and other allergens that thrive deep in the carpet.

Our carpet care technicians are certified by the IICRC. This means we have been thoroughly trained on the proper carpet cleaning techniques recommended by most carpet manufacturers to extend the life of your carpet!

When you schedule carpet cleaning with us, you can rest assured we follow strict guidelines and procedures to ensure you will receive the quality of service you expect!

Rotovac vs. Wand Cleaning

Most Cleaners Use A Manual Extraction Wand

Using a manual wand requires a lot of backbreaking effort to push the wand over the carpet, and it only cleans from two directions (back & forth). A person with a manual scrub wand can only make around 60 two-directional cleaning passes per minute. As the person tires this number decreases, producing only mediocre cleaning results and leaving many tough stains in the carpet.

We Use the Rotovac PowerWand®!

The patented vacuum heads use Rotary Jet ExtractionTM which thoroughly cleans the carpet fiber from all directions to produce superior cleaning results that will amaze you ... every time!

Rotary Vacuum slots clean the carpet from all directions with 1500 injection/extraction cleaning passes per minute. The Rotovac “simply glides” over the carpet in an effortless motion. The Rotovac’s intensive, aggressive cleaning action, restores heavily soiled carpets and matted traffic areas with ease.

Why the Rotovac is better than traditional wand cleaning...The manual scrub wand is a good cleaning tool for cleaning lightly soiled carpet. When cleaning more heavily soiled carpet, the wand becomes a ‘beast of burden.’ Cleaning results depend upon the strength, stamina, and technique of the person working the wand. Cleaning heavily soiled carpets with a scrub wand is ‘hard labor.’ The repetitive motion of scrubbing back and forth is extremely strenuous and fatiguing. An individual can't scrub long enough to effectively clean your carpets.

The Rotovac is an electric power scrubbing tool. Comparing the Rotovac to a wand is like comparing a skill saw to a hand saw. With its more efficient rotary mechanized operation, the Rotovac makes more cleaning passes per minute than is possible with a manual scrub wand. In addition, the cleaning passes are from all directions rather than just back and forth. This is what produces better cleaning results for you.

Beware of companies using "bait-n-switch" techniques!

If their price sounds too good to be true, you're probably not getting much of a deal.

Many companies will quote you a price that sounds too good to pass up, but when they get to your home, all of a sudden, the price goes up!

You’re ready to have your wall to wall carpeting professionally cleaned and want to get the best job for the best price, right?

You may have received a coupon in a Val Pak or via direct mail, advertising $6.95 per room! What a great deal, huh? How can they afford to charge such a low price? As a reputable business owner who has been serving this area, I can tell you with all certainty, THEY CAN’T! The gas alone, to get to your home would make this a losing proposition for the ‘company’. Then there are cleaning agents, set up and tear down time, and the actual job labor—a firm charging $6 or $9 a room would soon go broke.

How/why are they charging this price? The answer is simple—Bait & Switch! Here is a typical scenario: Once inside your home, you are informed that the advertised price is for ‘basic steam cleaning’--in other words, clear water. Take it from me; you cannot properly clean even a lightly soiled carpet without proper cleaning agents, such as pre-conditioner, emulsifier & various spot cleaners. Oh, they have these products on their truck, but if they USE them on your carpets, your $6 a room price just went up to $75. Then, there’s the high pressure add on sales (Scotchguard , deodorizing) as well as a charge for moving any furniture. Throw in the ‘nominal travel charge’ and the 2 rooms you thought you would be paying $12 to clean have just cost you $300, not to mention the lousy job performed by the inexperienced technician you’ve been sent! These companies hire right off the street and pay on a commission basis. Commission on what? On all of the up sell, of course! They’re routinely sued, go out of business, and resurface under a new name. Save yourself the trouble!

We pride ourselves on high quality Professional Carpet Cleaning and have trained & skilled technicians. You pay the price you are quoted! Our sole purpose is to please you, as well as extend the life of your carpeting with a professional & thorough job! Don’t be taken in by Bait & Switch companies! Remember the old adage—You get what you pay for

The Rotovac has a carpet pile height adjustment wheel which allows it to work on all installed over pad carpet, and most commercial glue downs.

back to questions

What is the dry time of the Rotovac compared to a wand?

The Rotovac on average leaves the carpet about 20 times drier when compared to a manual scrub wand under similar conditions.

back to questions

Why should I have my carpets cleaned?

There are many reasons to have your carpet and upholstery cleaned:

  • Health- Carpeting and fabrics not cleaned and properly maintained have the potential to cause a variety of health problems inside the home or work place.
  • Life of your carpet- can be greatly extended by simple routine professional cleaning.
  • Appearance- maintain the original look and luster of your carpet with regularly scheduled cleanings.

back to questions

How often should I have my furniture cleaned?

The EPA currently has issued no guidelines on the recommended cleaning frequency for upholstery. Until such a guideline has been issued, our company recommends that you have your upholstery cleaned every other time your carpet is cleaned. Example: if your carpets get cleaned every six months, your upholstery should be cleaned once a year.

back to questions

Should I vacuum before the carpet cleaner arrives?

Yes, vacuuming is essential to the longevity of your carpet. You should vacuum your carpet as often as possible. Vacuuming is not a part of our basic carpet cleaning service, but can be found in our premium package.

*We will not move musical instruments, grandfather clocks, most beds, full china hutches, full bookshelves, entertainment centers, pool tables...our technicians reserve the right not to move any piece of furniture or household object that they do not feel comfortable with.

Yes, having your carpet and furniture cleaned removes pollutants and makes for a more friendly breathing environment.

back to questions

Will you remove all my stains?

Some stains may be very difficult or impossible to remove. The success of any stain removal process is dependent on many factors including: how long the stain has been there, what caused the stain, and whether it is simply a "spot" or a permanent stain. The difference between spots and stains is spots can be removed with regular cleaning while stains require the addition of a specialized chemical to attempt to remove it (example: red wine, Kool-Aid, mustard or ink).

back to questions

Does cleaning your carpet make it wear out faster?

No, actually dirt acts as an abrasive when trapped in your carpet or fabrics and should be removed to reduce wear.

back to questions

Does your process restore the original feel of my carpet?

Yes, our process leaves your carpet fresh, clean, residue free and soft to the touch.

back to questions

Should I have a fabric protector applied after cleaning?

It is a good idea to apply a protectant in areas that are susceptible to frequent staining or high traffic areas. This will help to avoid future stains by preventing the stain from immediately soaking into the carpet fiber thus allowing you time to blot it up.

back to questions

My carpet is really old, should I replace it?

With the cost of replacing carpet being as expensive as it is today, it is always best to try having the carpet professionally cleaned first. It is far less costly and may make a world of difference.

back to questions

Which provides better indoor air quality: hardwood, or carpet?

Carpet actually acts like a ‘filter’ trapping pollutants which are then removed by professional carpet cleaning. As long as a regular cleaning schedule is maintained, carpet provides much better indoor air quality than hardwood.
